  63.           What you need to use Moon Viewer
  64.          ----------------------------------

  66. All computers are able to run Moom Viewer! You just need a
  67. VGA, a 286 or more, 500 Kb of free memory and about 800 Kb
  68. of free disk space!

  71.                    How to Install
  72.                   ----------------

  74. To install the package you just have to create a directory
  75. for it, and uncompress the package inside that directory.
  76.  
  77. You must be sure to have set the environment variabile TZ
  78. to the right time zone. TZ mean Time Zone and must be set
  79. to the right time difference between your time and the
  80. Greenwich Mean Time.
  81.  
  82. To check if this environment variabile is already set just
  83. type, on DOS command prompt, the command:
  84.  
  85.         SET TZ
  86.  
  87. If the answer is similar to "GMT-7" or something, then you
  88. don't have to do nothing, the program can work correctly.
  89. You should just check that the value is correct (see the file
  90. TIMEDIFF.TXT) for your position.
  91. If the variabile is not in the environment you should add to
  92. your autoexec.bat, for example, the command:
  93.  
  94.         SET TZ=GMT+1
  95.  
  96. You should check your time zone difference between your time
  97. and the Greenwich Mean Time in the file TIMEDIFF.TXT
  98.  
  99. Nothing else is required.

  105. The Moon Viewer 3.0 software has the following features:

  107. - You can see the actaual moon, second by second, and know
  108.   many interesting datas about the moon.

  110. - You can have all these information about the moon in
  111.   a certain date and time between 9999 B.C. to 9999

  113. - Day by day step animation, to see how the Moon change
  114.   every day! Very interesting to see !!

  116. - Possibility to select the animation speed.

  118. - A very impressive graphics reproduction of the Moon. The
  119.   best never seen in a shareware software.

  121. - Calcolous of the Easter Date available from 1583 to 9999
  122.  
  123. - Calcolous of Blue Moons (see bluemoon.txt).

  125. - Two visualization mode: draft and picture. The first one
  126.   for a schematic rapresentation, the second one for a very
  127.   realistic rapresentation.

  129. - You can export the Moon Picture in standard not compressed
  130.   BMP format.

  132. - You can see and export the calendar of the Moon for a
  133.   certain year between 9999 B.C. to 9999. The calendar give you
  134.   date and time (yes, time too!) of New Moons, First quarters,
  135.   Full Moons and Last quarters. Very accurate calculous of
  136.   these datas!!

  138. - You can export the calendar of the Moon in BMP,HTML or TXT
  139.   format. The HTML export is very useful to add a very
  140.   interesting page on your home page on internet.

  147. The Moon Windows Background software has the following features:

  149. - The same Moon Engine of the Moon Viewer, so a very accurate
  150.   mathematical base. Very fast to generate the Moon picture.

  152. - A really impressive graphic result. The BMP generated is a
  153.   256 colors picture. The Shadow on the Moon is smoothed to give
  154.   a very real apparence.

  156. - Since you have to run this program in your autoexec.bat batch
  157.   file, Windows Moon Background don't take CPU-time to compute
  158.   the Moon Picture during your Windows session. Just one time on
  159.   every bootstrap!!

  161.                  Shareware limitations

  164. The trial version of the Moon Viewer has the following
  165. limitations:

  167. - You cannot use it for more than 21 days without register.

  169. - Allowed date of the moon limited from 1900 to 9999

  171. - An annoing message that remaind you that your license is only
  172.   21 days long, and that you are using the program from X days.

  175. The trial version of the Windows Moon Background has the
  176. following limitations:

  178. - An annoing "Please, register WMoonBG" written on the picture
  179.   generated. Sorry again!

  183. register this software is very cheaper! Only $10 for two packages!!!
